Official Rust Servers

There are 110 official Rust servers online right now. These are the Facepunch-run boxes - marked official in the server browser, running stock rates with no third-party plugins, and wiping to Facepunch's own schedule rather than an owner's. They are the closest thing Rust has to a baseline experience.

Official servers are also the busiest and the most queued in the game, which is exactly why the live queue column here is worth checking before you click connect. A server showing 200/200 with 40 queued is a very different proposition from one showing 200/200 with nobody waiting, and the numbers below refresh every few minutes rather than at page build time.

Use the region filter to find the official server closest to you, or sort by most players to see where the population has settled this wipe. Official servers all follow the monthly forced wipe on the first Thursday of the month, but map and blueprint wipe cadence varies by server type, so open any server page for its detected wipe history and average wipe cycle before you plan a base around it.
